Inside Sales – Pumps/Heating Systems Specialist: A unique opportunity for an individual interested in building a career with a stable, 70-year-old, mid-sized wholesale distributor of pumps, plumbing supplies and water treatment equipment.
- Basic Requirements: At least 2-3 years experience in the plumbing, pump, heating and/or water treatment industries. Must be able to communicate effectively internally and externally, both in writing (electronically) and verbally (face-to-face and telephonically). Moderate arithmetic skills. Microsoft Office products knowledge.
- General Requirements: Responsible for procuring, processing, expediting and monitoring/following-up on customer orders. Assist in answering customer inquiries and resolving customer questions and problems. With management

guidance, responsible for obtaining quotations for materials, placing bids for the work to customers and following up on orders. Check available stock as needed by interfacing with warehouse staff. Be knowledgeable in all products, research new products as requested by customers and sales staff.
- Specific Requirements: Diagnose problems with nonfunctioning pumps and heating systems and propose solutions. Specify & size pumps needed for certain situations/applications. Should have “hands-on” experience with industrial, commercial or residential pumping applications. Experience with Grundfos a plus. General plumbing knowledge of water systems. Other helpful experience includes working knowledge of or experience with centrifugal pumps, chemical dosing/metering pumps, treatment of water for cooling and boiler water (or steam) systems/heat transfer, membrane/RO systems, process water or potable water, or high purity water.
- Hours: 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday – Friday, with possibility of Saturday hours 7:30 am – 12:00 pm once per month.
